I am taking Primal defense now but would like to know if Omegazyme is different enough from Primal Defense that I should take both or just one. I am trying to improve digestion as well as increase enzymes to help keep down inflammation.

You need to eat 50% of your food raw. If you eat dead or enzyme free food, the enzymes you suggested are good. Raise the temperature of food above 108F, you kill the enzymes!

I am a poop study man. If you have logs, you do not have enough raw foods or enzymes. Your scat or waste should be more like a soft serve ice cream or toothpaste. You should have a pile of poop! You must drink enough water also. Low water your body can't make much digestive enzymes. Water you need 1/2 your body weight in fluid ounces.

Thanks for sharing this information Destiny man. Very interesting about the enzymes being killed when you cook food. Just wondering if there is any harm in eating allot of dietary fiber?

If you have IBS, you need a colon cleanse that has a formula with activated charcoal, bentonite clay, and soothing herbs. TVS has a "bentonite clay", but drug people used it for urine tests to pass. It detoxes drug residue according to TVS store sagas and gossip.

Fiber is never wrong or "too much", if accompanied with enough water. Americans are dehydrated and demineralized like their foods! American's are under the 30 grams a day of fiber, you need minimum, both water soluble and insoluble.

People that live in the bush, from Africa, 30 minutes after they eat, most have a bowel movements. Of course this is the meal hours ago. My friend told me that African people in the bush are regular as clockwork. They do not get direticulitus and other bowel disease except for diarrehia and dehydration deaths. In USA we have saline IV's, that prevent that death from dehydration.

There is another factor with high fiber diet, you will have a bowel movement for every meal you eat. That is ideal for human health!

You may not have IBS from enzyme deficiency but a toxin reaction from foods. It could be a fungal toxin in wheat, corn, soy or other grains. You could some food allergy due to unintentional chronic dehydration. Eat the same foods every day and you could become allergic. I ate wheat flour products every day for year and I did not drink enough water!

Just thought of another enzyme issue. Why do hospitals, "pack you in ice", when your temperature is 107F? You die when your temperature is 108F!

Why? The enzymes of your body are proteins and they denature. That means they do not work anymore.

Raw cows milk is health food, chilled to taste, of course. But pasturized milk is white death. Baby cows were feed this human food and died! If milk does not spoil, it is unfit for bacteria and fungus! Why would I eat a food that fungus and bacteria would not eat?

That is why juicing fresh fruits and vegetables are so good. No heat to KILL enzymes. Some people eat raw meat for cures! Raw meat has all its enzymes, cooked meat has no enzymes.

Primal Defense Ultra and Omega-Zyme Ultra are very different. Omega-Zyme when taken with meals helps to break down the foods you eat (carbs, fats, proteins, fiber) while Primal Defense helps to re-balance the microflora in the gut.

Hey destiny man- I just wanted to say welcome and thank you for sharing your experiences with others here. This is what the message boards are all about. Sharing advice and support with others.

One question I have and that is around juicing- I have been thinking about buying a juicer myself and was wondering if you have a brand that you like. I would like to find a juicer that is durable but is not too difficult to clean. Perhaps one that I can wash in the dishwasher.

Also, feel free to share some of your juicing recipes if you have any. :)

Great photo, Frannie!

I have tried various juicers, cheap ones and better ones. Jack La Lane and Juice Man are two strong machines that juice well. All of them are a bit of a pain to clean, La Lane and Juiceman's disassemble easy and can go in dishwasher.

I use their recipes. Juice man has a book he writes. I can give you general pointers:
For restoring minerals melons are good very low calories and taste great.
For Enzymes pineapples and papaya, they have the most protolytic enzymes. Eat the pineapple for fiber and take the core (most enzymes) and left over parts in the juicer.

I have gone to the vitamin Shoppe Multi-enzyme rather than juice for digestive enzymes. Then, I did Wobenzyme N and later Ultra Inf Zyme forte as a systematic enzyme to relive hip and back pain. All these enzymes are cheaper than fruits and vegetables, but you miss all the great minerals, vitamins and compounds the eggheads have not figured out.

Enjoy being juicy! You will feel better if you do! I did!

Hi destiny man: Thanks for the photo compliment and also the great advice on juicing. I cannot wait to get started. I have seen the infomercial on the jack Lalane product ( he looks amazing by the way) and am glad to hear that it is one that you recommend. Is it possible to make more than one batch of juice and keep it for more than one day? My guess is that it may lose some of the nutrient value but maybe not. Thoughts?

Put it in the fridge! You lost stuf,f but it is better than store bought juices!

Juicing apples you learn how perishable, juice is. The brown color of apple cider, is oxidized ingredients. Fresh juice is best, but a thermos works too, dark and cold.
